How are your prints made?
All my giclée prints are professionally made by Studio One Frames Ltd. An award winning fine art printer.
What is giclée printing?
Giclée (pronounced ‘Zhee-clay’) originates from the French verb gicler meaning “to squirt, or to spray”. Giclée is similar to your printer at home – but uses more inks to produce a wider colour range – instead of the 4 (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) used in most ink-jet printers and lithograph. Giclée uses light fast, pigmented based inks and the resulting prints have a much wider colour gamut and the colour’s themselves will last longer.
How do I look after pastels?
I have a separate page dedicated to this subject.
Do you offer a framing service?
All my original artwork is sent in an acid free mount (mat). However, I don't currently offer a framing service at this time.
Is your packaging eco friendly?
Yes! All the packaging I use is as eco friendly as possible. The mailing bags I use are biodegradable.
