The tiger is one of the most majestic and awe-inspiring of animals. Depicted here in a quiet moment, the tiger takes a drink on a hot day in its natural habitat. This painting took many weeks to complete, using layer after layer of oil paint to achieve the rich and vibrant colours. I wanted the eyes to be the focal point of this artwork.
